What is AIDS ?

AIDS is called (A) Acquired (I) Immune (D)deficiency (S) Syndrome caused by HIV in Human .

What is HIV?

HIV is Human Immunodeficiency Virus. HIV is Particular type of Virus that attacks on Human Immune system and damage it properly over a time. 

About AIDS

AIDS is a disease where Immune system of the HIV infected person become so weak that he or she gets prone to accept other diseases very easily. In this the body/body organs becomes weak to fight with the diseases due to damaged Immune system of the  HIV infected person.

"AIDS is also called the Last stage of HIV Infection." 

Sources (Modes) of Transmission of HIV :

1. From Mother to child (Breast feeding)

2. During Sex-From Infected partner 

3. Sharing HIV Contaminated Needles 

4. By taking HIV Contaminated Drugs.

5. HIV Contaminated Blood transfusion

Body Fluids -Contain HIV

Following Fluids are the carrier of HIV at High Level
Semen, Vaginal Fluids, Pre-seminal fluid, Blood, breast Milk, Anal Mucous

Following Fluids are the carrier of HIV at Low Level
Urine, Vomit, Nasal fluid, Human Saliva Tears and Sweating

Symptoms of AIDS: (Very Similar to Common illness)

1. Shore throat
2. Chilling (Shivering)
3. Rash
4. Fatigue
5. Nigh Sweats
6. Body Aches
7. Ulcers in Mouth

AIDS Treatments

Still Scientists from around the world are fighting to fight against HIV Virus to search a suitable Vaccine. Up to a extent they have succeed to fight and still they are trying hard to find final solution. Now a days People with HIV Virus are leaving their life normally. The life expectancy of HIV Infected people have been increased now but still we are all waiting for final 100% effective medication/Vaccine to kill HIV permanently.

Prevention 

1. Do only Protected sex by using Condoms, Dental dams etc.

2. Never ask for Used Needle in hospital or clinic.

3. Always ask to check the blood for HIV before transfusion.

4. Avoid Breastfeeding if Mother is infected with HIV.
