Diabetes and lifestyle: How to keep control?

Diabetes can be at any age, but after the age of 30 diabetes is common among new generation people. It can be cured or avoid if one follow strict lifestyle in his/her  life. Diabetes may be in children or in pregnant woman. A diabetes expert should be consulted for better consultation and treatment.

Symptoms: You may not find any symptoms at initial stage for diabetes but later on you can find following symptoms:

1. Tiredness
2. Frequent urination
3. Pain in legs
4. Sudden increase/decrease in weight
5. Increase Thirst
6. Numbness and Tingling
7. Blurred Vision.


Precautions:

Food to avoid : Foods having Sugar, high oil/fat food & Rice.
You can take brown rice in diet or can add some vegetables in white rice to balance the sugar.

In fruits : Avoid  Mango, Banana, Chiku and Grapes. Other fruits you can eat.

Exercise/workout recommended : One should walk at least 10,000 steps daily. 40 Minutes work out daily (Jogging, Exercise etc). A outdoor game/play will be good option.

Routine diet:

Breakfast : Milk (Double Toned), 2 Chapati, Fruit etc.( Don't skip breakfast)
Lunch: 3 Chapati, Curd, Vegetable, Salaad and Brown Rice.
Evening Break:. A Tea/Fruit with some 2 Sugar free biscuit.
Dinner: 3 Chapati, Vegetable/Daal, Salaad and Curd/Butter milk,

When to Checkup:

After the age of 30, one should go for checkup for diabetes.
A pregnant woman should go for checkup.
