Diabetes and lifestyle: How to keep control?
Diabetes can be at any age, but after the age of 30 diabetes is common among new generation people. It can be cured or avoid if one follow strict lifestyle in his/her life. Diabetes may be in children or in pregnant woman. A diabetes expert should be consulted for better consultation and treatment.
Symptoms: You may not find any symptoms at initial stage for diabetes but later on you can find following symptoms:
1. Tiredness
2. Frequent urination
3. Pain in legs
4. Sudden increase/decrease in weight
5. Increase Thirst
6. Numbness and Tingling
7. Blurred Vision.
Precautions:
Food to avoid : Foods having Sugar, high oil/fat food & Rice.
You can take brown rice in diet or can add some vegetables in white rice to balance the sugar.
In fruits : Avoid Mango, Banana, Chiku and Grapes. Other fruits you can eat.
Exercise/workout recommended : One should walk at least 10,000 steps daily. 40 Minutes work out daily (Jogging, Exercise etc). A outdoor game/play will be good option.

Lunch: 3 Chapati, Curd, Vegetable, Salaad and Brown Rice.

Tulsi, Turmeric and Glycerin to treat Mouth/oral Cancer
In a recent study in Kashi Hindu Ayurvedic University, Uttar Pradesh. After a reasearch done by Dean Prof. TP Chaturvedi. It was found that the oral Diseases which promotes oral cancer can be treated very well with the help of Tulsi, Turmeric and glycerin.
The same treatment is going on in Sir sunderlal dental hospital under the guidance of Prof. Chaturvedi.

Gastric Problem : How to get Relief ?
Gastric problem is the common problem among mid age people due to their eating life style. About 30-40% people are suffering from gastric problem. When gas is produced in the stomach, it is difficult to sustain with the pain, upset stomach and restlessness.
Causes: it is said that it may be due to the breakdown of undigested food by bacteria in and due to swallowed air during eating or chewing. Some time some food is left undigested ( or take time to digest) due to absence of some enzymes or with some other problem.
Other possible cause of gas production:
- undigested milk can also produce gas
- some medicines also produce gas.
Symptoms:
Belching (occasional release of gas after meal or may be due to some stomach illness), Bloating (due to intestinal disorder), abdominal pain (left side of the colon), heaviness, loss of appetite, dullness, lethargic and flatulence (too much gas production some time a foul smell) due to carbohydrate malabsorption/impaired digestion o food.

Food Diet for pregnant woman
For a healthy baby to be born. you must keep yourself healthy during pregnancy. Your child is the part of your body when your are pregnant. So it is necessary that your body should supply all the important nutrients important for the growth of the fetus (foetus). About 300-350 extra calories/day are required to handle the changes in your body and child development.
The food/diet should contain:
- Protein- Protein is required for the development of child, brain development and for pregnant mother also. Soya products, grains, legumes, beans, meat, fish, milk and milk products. You can add 25-30 gm of proteins by taking all protein rich foods.
- Fat-Fat is required for development of body of child. (should be limited)
- Calcium-for the development of bones, Muscles, heart and nerves and other parts of the body.
- Sugar- For the proper growth of the body.
- Vitamin D- Vitamin D is important for bones and teeth. you should have good exposure of sunlight to gain vitamin D beside this Vitamin D rich food should be consumed.
- Folic Acid- About 400 Miligram recommended for the pregnant woman. you should consume foods high in folate like cereals,bread and grain products. Fruits and vegetables also contain folic acid so should be included in diet. It prevent neural tube birth defects.
- Iron-for the blood. The iron rich food (Green Leafy vegetables, grains, whole grains, beans) should be consumed.
- Dry fruits and vitamins can be included in the diet to get minerals and vitamins.
- Fruits and vegetables: To avoid water contamination in fruit juice. fruits should be consumed directly after washing. Fruits and vegetables contains required sugar, vitamins, proteins etc.
